History

In 1984, a group of Scientologists congregated at Saint Hill Manor in East Grinstead, Sussex, England, recognizing the need for an international body to safeguard the future of the Scientology religion they formed the International Association of Scientologists.

Purpose of the IAS

Throughout history there have been many attempts to suppress religious freedom and human rights, at different time new religious movements have experienced persecution and misunderstanding at different times. The IAS has the purpose to forward the Aims of Scientology.

Membership

The IAS is a membership organization open to all Scientologists from all nations. Through their financial support and membership activities, IAS members contribute to religious freedom.

Scientologists from around the world belong to the IAS, and members believe in and fight for the rights of man, the freedom of Scientology and all religions.
