The Department of International Trade, also referred to as International Trade Canada, is the department in the government of Canada with responsibility for import/export and international trade policies.

The department was created in December 2003 during a reorganization of the federal government which saw the former Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade split into two departments. As of 2005, legislative changes to legally remove the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade from the books and establish a Department of International Trade have yet to be enacted.
