Oregon

Interstate 505 in Oregon was an intended 1.44 mile freeway spur in northwest Portland that would have connected Interstate 405 with St. Helens Road, U.S. Highway 30. This freeway was canceled in 1979 after plans for it were withdrawn, and U.S. 30 was realigned along Yeon Road in 1988 to alleviate residential congestion. The I-505 interchange, having already been built with the construction of I-405, now serves as a direct connection to U.S. 30.
