Notes

  • Interstate 289 was originally slated to go around Burlington, but it was never completed. A section of the highway is signed as VT 289.
  • I-89 continues into Quebec as PQ Provincial Highway 133, the only instance that an interstate connecting to that Canadian province does not become an Autoroute. However, Autoroute 35 will be extended in the next few years, creating a freeway-to-freeway connection.
