Interstate A-3 - Definition

There are four officially designated Interstate Highways in Alaska. Though the routes do not directly connect to the rest of the United States Interstate Highway system, they receive funding in a similar fashion to the Interstates in the conterminous US.

Unlike the Interstate routes in Hawaii, they are unsigned as such, and the designated routes of the four routes, officially Interstates A-1, A-2, A-3, and A-4, run along various combinations of Alaska state routes.
