The Iowa Hawkeye Football program is the University of Iowa's football program. The team is part of the Big Ten Conference. Their home stadium is Kinnick Stadium, after Nile Kinnick - who won the 1939 Heisman Trophy. The current head coach is Kirk Ferentz.
Iowa's football team plays Iowa State annually for the Cy-Hawk Trophy, a travelling award. Iowa also has a major Big Ten rivalry with Minnesota. The two schools' football teams meet yearly to battle for Floyd of Rosedale, a trophy in the shape of a bronzed pig.
One of the more well known coaches of Iowa football was Hayden Fry.
