Irish Congress of Trades Unions (often referred to as "Congress") is the representative body for trade unions in Ireland. There are 57 trade unions affiliated to Congress, representing the interests of almost 750,000 working people, both in the Republic and in Northern Ireland.
Congress is the sole Irish affiliate of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), the representative body for trade unions at European level.
