Completed as a 45,963tonnes 46,698(fullload),she narrowly escaped destruction when she was damaged by three torpedoes,with Duilio and Conte di Cavour.She recieved further damage in June1942 when she was torpedoed by british aircraft during an attack on a Malta Convoy.She finally surrendered in 1943.
