The fictional Joint Supreme Headquarters Alaska, is the central command center one of the only major military bases in Earth Alliance control after the fall of Victoria. The base was constructed by the two fueding powers in the Earth Alliance, the Atlantic Federation and the Eurasian Federation.
The EA spaceship Archangel reaches this base after death of Tolle and the supected death of Kira. With Flay Alster being transferred to the Atlantic Federation to motivate the Alliance and the transfer of both Lt. Natarle Bagiruel and ace pilot Mu La Flaga, the ship is left helpless with no pilots of its own to help protect. Top officers of the Atlantic Federation leave the Archangel and a major fleet of the Eurasian Federation, only to destroy the ZAFT forces and the Eurasia forces at the same time, with the Cyclops System.
The base is destroyed during the Battle of JOSH-A or what ZAFT calls Operation Spit Break, with much of ZAFT and the Eurasian forces.
