JT (album) - Definition and Overview

JT is singer-songwriter James Taylor's ninth album. Released in 1977, it contains hit singles in "Handy Man" and "Your Smiling Face" and was Taylor's highest charting album since Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon.

This album also contains several James Taylor classics, such as "Secret O' Life" and "Terra Nova", with the participation of Taylor's then-wife Carly Simon.

Taylor won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance, Male for "Handy Man".
