A.J. Jacobs is an American journalist and author. He works for National Public Radio and is the author of the book The Know-It-All: One Man's Humble Quest to Become the Smartest Person in the World. Jacobs read all 32 volumes of the Encyclopædia Britannica and wrote about his experiences in his humorous book.
