James Randal "Munky" Shaffer (born June 16, 1970 in Rosedale, California) is a guitarist with the band Korn.
Shaffer took up playing guitar as a part of his rehabilitation in the wake of an accident where the tip of his left finger was severed by the chain on his bicycle.
The nickname "Munky" is a reference to his feet; apparently when spread out they resemble monkey hands.
