Jarom - Definition and Overview

In the Book of Mormon, Jarom (BoM Arabic ياروم Yārūm) appears in the Book of Jarom.

Jarom was the son of Enos, who was the son of Jacob (Book of Mormon), who was the son of Lehi, who left Jerusalem for America in about 600 BC.

Jarom was a prophet who kept records for the Nephites from about 420 BC to about 361 BC. After he died he handed over the record keeping to his son Omni.
