Jeffery Nero Hardy (born August 31, 1977 in Cameron, North Carolina) is a professional wrestler and musician. He and his older brother Matt Hardy made up one of the most popular tag teams in World Wrestling Entertainment at the turn of the 21st century, and Jeff was also a successful singles wrestler. The Hardy boyz have won the Tag Titles on several ocassions before disbanding after the brand split.
He is known for his high-risk aerial maneuvers, especially in TLC matches. He made a name for himself as one of the most seemingly reckless WWE performers of his time. He has been in every TLC match.
Jeff was released from the WWE after he reportedly failed to report to live events.[1] (http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/2003/04/22/70786.html)
After his release Jeff formed a band (along with fellow professional wrestler Shannon Moore), entitled Peroxwhy?gen.
Jeff's personal life was equally as eccentric as his in-ring persona; he had at one time built a 20-foot statue of an alien out of tin foil which he would jump over on his motorcycle.
In July 2004 he signed with Total Nonstop Action where has since became a main event start and has even competed against Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World Title at TNA's last weekly PPV. He has the name of the Chrasmatic Enigma and is on his way back towards the NWA World Heavyweight Title. He fought against Jeff Jarrett in TNA's First Sunday PPV Victory Road in a ladder match but lost due to interference by Hall and Nash. He has teamed up with AJ Styles and Randy " Macho Man" Savage against the then Kings of Wrestling: Nash, Hall, Jarrett. He has recently defeated Scott Hall at TNA's Final Resolution. He is scheduled to face Abyss at TNA Against all odds in a Full Metal MAyhem Match.
Jeff's finishers are the Whisper in the Wind, Poetry in Motion, Swanton Bomb, Twist of Fate
WWE Title Reigns
