Jennifer Tilly (born September 16, 1958 in Harbor City, California) is an American actress who has starred in many major films as well as independent features.
Biography
Tilly was born Jennifer E Chan and was raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. She attended Belmont High School along with her two sisters, one of whom, Meg Tilly, is also an actress. She began her acting career as a teenager, putting herself through the theater program at Stephens College in Missouri.
Her breakthrough film role was in The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989) and she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Bullets Over Broadway (1994).
Jennifer married Simpsons producer Sam Simon in 1984 but they divorced in 1991.
Tilly gained some additional popularity in recent years for providing voice-over work for the Child's Play series of movies. In the most recent installment, Seed of Chucky, she plays a dual role, not only providing a voice for one of the killer dolls, but also playing a parody of herself.
