Jeremy Bonderman - Definition

Jeremy Bonderman is one of the Detroit Tigers starting pitcher. Bonderman is six foot four (1.93 m), 210 lb (95 kg). Jeremy bats and throws on his right. Bonderman was born on, October 28, 1982, in Kennewick, Washington. Bonderman never went to college, the Oakland Athletics drafted him in his junior year of high school with the 26th pick in the 2001 baseball draft. However Bondermans time in the Oakland orginization was cut short in a trade that sent him to the Detroit Tigers as the player to be named later along with, Franklyn German and Carlos Pena for Jeff Weaver (who rapidily became Ted Lilly for [Oakland]) on, July 6, 2002. In the Book Moneyball he is given as an example of an unwise first round draft pick, an unproved high schooler who looks good in a uniform, unhittable slider not withstanding.
