Jette is one of the nineteen municipalities located in the Brussels-Capital Region of Belgium. On January 1st, 2004 the municipality had a total population of 41,938 (19,415 males and 22,523 females). The total area is 5.04 km² which gives a population density of 8,315.59 inhabitants per km².
