John Boorman - Definition and Overview

John Boorman (born 18 January, 1933) is an English film director who is best known for his films Point Blank (1967), Deliverance (1972), Zardoz (1974), Excalibur (1981), and Hope and Glory (1987). On of the great English film directors, Boorman is acclamed for his highly vision style and often grand themes.

Boorman was born in London.
