John Harlan is a popular television announcer who has worked on numerous television projects.
He is considered the "prince of announcers" by some critics and fans. His credits include the People's Choice Awards, Name That Tune, and Press Your Luck. There are disputes that he was a sub-announcer for Wheel of Fortune during its early years, but this has not been confirmed.
Harlan's best known work is for the Bob Hope specials of the 1970s and 1980s. Although semi-retired, he continues to do work for low-budgeted specials.
