John Sainsbury, Baron Sainsbury of Preston Candover is a businessman and politician. He is a life peer and sits in the House of Lords as a member of the Conservative Party. He attended Worcester College at Oxford University. He used to run the Sainsbury supermarket chain but retired in 1992.
