Jon Kleinberg is a Professor of Computer Science at Cornell University. Many students affectionately call him the "rebel King" (an anagram for "Kleinberg"). His most famous work to date is perhaps the HITS algorithm, although he has written a very large amount of academic literature. He received his BS from Cornell and PhD from MIT.
