Jonathan Abrams was the founder of Friendster, a Social Networking website that ignited a hype of Social Networking services, to a stage they were termed YASNS (Yet Another Social Networking Service). Abrams became was widely criticized within the Internet community when he introduced limitations on the users of the service; for example, Friendster began to delete profiles that were thought to be fake, known as Fakesters. Following a venture capital investment, Jonathan Abrams was released from position as CEO of Friendster.
