Joshua Redman (born February 1, 1969) is a prominent jazz saxophonist who records for Warner Brothers records. Born in Berkeley, California, he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University in 1991, then won the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition the same year and began focusing on his musical career.
