Jubal - Definition

Jubal was, according to the Bible, a son of Cain's descendant Lamech and his wife Adah. He is said to have been the founder of all those who "handle the harp and the pipe". (Genesis 4:21)

Jubal is also the title of a 1956 Western starring Glenn Ford, Ernest Borgnine and Rod Steiger. The character played by Ford is named after Jubal.
