Judea Pearl is a computer science professor at UCLA. He was one of the pioneers of Bayesian networks and the probalistic approach to artificial intelligence. His work is also intended as a high-level cognitive model. He is interested in the philosophy of causality.
He was the father of Daniel Pearl.
