Judging Amy is a television program that premiered in 1999 on CBS and stars Amy Brenneman of NYPD Blue and Tyne Daly (of Cagney & Lacey). In the US, reruns air on the TNT cable channel.
Brenneman plays a family court judge and Daly plays a caseworker for State of Connecticut Department of Children and Family Services. Most of the show takes place in Hartford.
