Juicer Juicer

Juicer - Definition and Overview

Juicer is a utensil with a conical ridged center. It is an instrument used for squeezing juice from small or large citrus fruit. An implement primarily designed for practical use for the preparation of drinks and foodstuff. It creates fresh-squeezed juice from a variety of citrus fruits.

Basically, it is a squeezer that is used for squeezing juice from fruit. Centering the halves of fruit with their cut-side down over the juicer, a user presses the fruit down and turns the fruit back and forth to extract juice. They discard the fruit afterwards. Pulp and seeds are retained in the edges.

It is also called a reamer or a juice reamer. Electric versions exist.

Jack Lalanne is the king of power juicing. He started the whole trend.
