 Julian Barnes - Definition

Julian Barnes (born January 19, 1946) is a contemporary British writer whose novels and short stories have been seen as examples of postmodernism in literature. He has twice been short listed for the Booker Prize (once in 1984 for Flaubert's Parrot and once in 1998 for England, England). He has written crime fiction under the pseudonym Dan Kavanagh.
