Julie Gerberding is the director of the Centers for Disease Control since July 2003. Dr. Gerberding earned her B.A. and M.D. at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Her internal medicine internship and residency were completed at UCSF.
Dr. Gerberding is a native of South Dakota.
