Julio Gonzales was convicted of setting the Happyland Fire in March 1990. This fire killed 87 people, making Gonzales the greatest spree killer found in the United States. He was sentenced to 174 twenty-five-year sentences (a total of 4,350 years), the longest sentence ever handed down in New York.
