"Justice" is a Star Trek: The Next Generation episode. It was the seventh episode broadcast and the events depicted occurred on Stardate 41255.6. It was first aired on the ninth of November, 1987. The episode was written by Worley Thorne, the screenplay was done by Ralph Wills and Worley Thorne, and was directed by James L. Conway
The enhabitants of Rubicam III welcome the crew to a paradise planet. However, when Wesley Crusher commits an accidental capital crime things get tight. The matter is complicated by both the Prime Directive and the orbiting "godhead" of the Edo above.
During this episode, Captain Picard refers to Wesley Crusher as his "son". It is possible that Gene Roddenberry's original story for was that Wesley was the love child of the captain fathered with the doctor in an affair. Gene died before he could have the story produced and the storyline was forgetten by the writting staff.
