Justin Tyler Berfield (born February 25, 1986 in Los Angeles County, California) is an American actor who began acting at the age of five when he appeared in a Folgers Coffee commercial. Since then, he has appeared in 15 other American television commercials, giving rise to the nick-name The Commercial Kid. His television debut came in 1994 when he starred in The Good Life. Berfield is best known for his portrayal of the character Reese, the second-oldest brother in the Fox Network television sitcom Malcolm in the Middle. In 1995, he began to play the role of Ross Malloy, the youngest sibling in The WB sitcom Unhappily Ever After, continuing in the role for 5 seasons.

In both Malcolm in the Middle and Unhappily Ever After he appeared in over 100 episodes, making him the youngest person in television history to be in over 100 episodes of two different television shows.

Berfield also created his own production company, J2 entertainment, and became a co-producer of the Coen Brothers/John Turturro directed musical film Romance & Cigarettes (2005). He also serves as a national youth ambassador for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
