Jyotiraditya Scindia (born January 1. 1971) is a INCleader and Member of Parliament from Guna. He is also the scion of the Scindia family and the Maharajah of the erstwhile princely state of Gwalior.
Jyotiraditya Scindia was born in Mumbai to Madhavrao Scindia. He studied at Harvard and Stanford and went on to work as an investment banker for Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. He also gained some development experience with the UN economic Development Cell.
Elected to the Lok Sabha in February 2002 from the constituency of Guna, formerly represented by his late father Madhavrao Scindia, Jyotiraditya was initiated into his new career with an almost unprecedented lead of votes - a lead of more than 450,000.
