The station broadcasts in stereo and broadcasts a Secondary Audio Program (SAP) channel, used mainly for Descriptive Video Service (DVS).
KMOV-DT (KMOV's digital channel) operates on channel 56.
History
KMOV was owned by CBS operated as KMOX-TV until the mid 1980s when CBS sold the television station. The KMOX call letters were retained by the AM station.
KMOX-TV began broadcasting on July 8, 1954.
