KNBC-TV (NBC4) is the West Coast flagship station of the NBC television network. This station signed on the air on January 16, 1949 as KNBH-TV. In the mid-1950s, KNBH changed its call letters to KRCA-TV. In 1962, upon relocating to the newly built NBC Studios in surburban Burbank, KRCA changed its call letters to the present KNBC-TV.
