K Records - Definition and Overview

K Records is a record company in Olympia, Washington and was founded, owned, and operated by Calvin Johnson, formerly of Beat Happening.

Musicians such as Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, John Wozniak of Marcy Playground, and Jason Frost of Love Junkies frequented and lived in this tiny northwestern musical town in the early 1990s.
