Kadoma, Osaka - Definition

Kadoma (門真市; -shi) is a city located in Osaka, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 133,879 and the density of 10,902.20 persons per km². The total area is 12.28 km².

Kadoma is located northeast of Osaka on the Keihan Railway, and is connected to Osaka's other northern suburbs by the Osaka Monorail. The city is well-known within Japan as being the site of the headquarters of Matsushita (Panasonic).

The city was founded on August 1, 1963. In 2005, it will be merged with the neighboring city of Moriguchi.
