The Kal'chik, or Kal'mius River is a river in Ukraine. It flows from Donetsk into the Azov Sea, which it enters near the city of Mariupol. Formerly known as the Kalka River, it was the scene of the bloody battle between Mongols and East Slavs in 1223.
