Kallithea (Greek: Καλλιθέα) or Kalithea is a city 8 km SW of Athens. It is also a suburban city. Its main street is Kalliróe Street. It is home of Athens' nearest race track. The hippodrome (name?) is short. This was the site of several accidents. One in 1999 and the other in around 2000. It is accessed by Andreas Syngrou Avenue in the east, Poseidonos Avenue in the south and Kifissos Avenue/GR-1 in the west.
