Kanggye: Because the topography important, from Ri Dynastry(1392-1910), the oneself is the military strategic place, also is the Jagang Province administrative center.
Geography
Located in Kangwon province, it is the marging point of 4 rivers, thus acquires fame.
Transportation
Consummation Railway and the highway connect Pyongyang and other locations, causes Kanggye
to become an interior plateau transportation hub. Nearby Kanggye is equipped with a military and civilian dual purposes air station.
Culture
It has a Kanggye University of Education.
Traveling spot includes: Inphung Pavilion, Mountain Ryonhwa.
Industry
From 1945, because of a hyper plant is running, manufacturing industry rapid development. Haeju has lumber processing mill and ceramic factory.
It has mining industry, copper mine, zinc ore, coal mine and graphite.
