Kellogg is a city located in Jasper County, Iowa. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 606.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.9 km² (0.4 mi²). 0.9 km² (0.4 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 606 people, 248 households, and 169 families residing in the city. The population density is 649.9/km² (1,663.0/mi²). There are 282 housing units at an average density of 302.4/km² (773.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 98.35% White, 0.17% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.50% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.99% from two or more races. 0.83% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 248 households out of which 34.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.2% are married couples living together, 11.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 31.5% are non-families. 27.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 14.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.44 and the average family size is 2.96.
