Ken Bruce - Definition and Overview

Ken Bruce (born 2 February 1951, Glasgow) is a British broadcaster, mainly associated with BBC Radio 2 for whom he has been a regular presenter since 1976. For most of that time, he has appeared in the mid-morning slot (currently 9.30am to 12 noon) though he has also appeared in various other slots, including the breakfast show for a short time following Terry Wogan's departure from the station in 1985. His current show is particularly noted for the daily Popmaster quiz, with questions set by music expert Phil Swern.

He is also the station's regular commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest and one of the regular presenters of the long-running Friday Night is Music Night.
