Kevin Rose (Real name: Robert Kevin Rose) is the co-host of The Screen Savers, which airs on G4techTV. He was born in California, and grew up in Las Vegas. He attended Vo-Tech, a technical school, before attending UNLV. After school, he got a job with the Department of Energy. He then moved to San Francisco and worked for several dot-com startups through CMGI. After the dot-com bubble "burst," Kevin started as a technical production assistant for The Screen Savers. He eventually began appearing on the show in certain segments, most notably the "dark tip" segments, where he provided information on unscrupulous computing activities. He sometimes filled in for the regular show hosts, and eventually became a regular host after Leo Laporte left TechTV. He currently dates coworker Sarah Lane.
Kevin Rose has recently teamed up with Dan Huard to create the online videozine The Broken, which features activities such as password cracking and social engineering.
