Khadakwasla is a moderate sized dam on the Mutha river, located about 20 km. southwest of the city of Pune. This dam is one of the main sources of water to the city. The dam is named after the nearby village of Khadakwasla.
This Dam construction is still a mystery. Historians say, whenever peshwas wanted water they built dams for storage of water. Other sources say that it was built by warli tribes in the thane district....but why? So far? Like the mystery ?
