Kipling GO Station is a GO Transit Train Station along the Milton rail corridor. It is located at 27 St. Albans Road in southern Etobicoke, near Dundas Street and it provides a connection to the TTC's Bloor-Danforth Subway line.
Although there is a pair of tracks that serve the station, which has a single island platform between the tracks; however they generally use the south tracks for the GO Transit train service. This station runs along the CP rail corridor.
This station may be a very basic station, with no GO Transit parking facilities (the nearby parking facilities are for the TTC services), but it does have a station building, containing the ticket sales agent that is linked with the TTC pedestrian tunnel by the stairs. However, this is one of the few stations that GO Transit does not have plans to install the Ticket Vending Machine (TVM). The trouble with this station is that whenever the TTC is on a strike, the GO trains skip this station. This is all due to the only station exit, which leads to the TTC property.
In addition, like many other GO Train stations, Kipling is not a wheelchair accessible station and GO Transit doesn't have any plans to install an elevator due to the station design along with the TTC subway station design. Like most of the other stations on the GO Train network, it does feature a full length platform (10 Bombardier Bi-Level cars plus at least a locomotive) and for capacity expansion on the Milton line in the future, Kipling Station will be one of the several stations that will feature an extended platform (12 cars and at least a locomotive).
