Kisarazu - Definition and Overview

Kisarazu (木更津市; -shi) is a city located in Chiba, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 122,542 and a density of 883.82 persons per km². The total area is 138.65 km².

The Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line, a bridge-tunnel across Tokyo Bay, connects Kisarazu and the city of Kawasaki in Kanagawa Prefecture.

The city was founded on November 3, 1942.
