Kish, Iran - Definition

Kish (کیش) is an Iranian island and city in the Persian Gulf. It is site of many touristic attractions, and a shopping paradise. It has a population of about 150,000 residents and about 30,000 tourists and visitors. It is a part of the Hormozgan province.

The Iranian government is trying to make Kish a rival for Dubai.
