Knowledge wars is a term used to describe university discourse in middle-east politics. The term originally described the tone of the debate between Columbia University and the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. Academic and author Stephen Howe of Ruskin College, Oxford developed a system of rules or guidelines for dealing with knowledge wars.
