The Kociewiacy are a Polish ethnic group. They live in Pomerania south of Gdansk. Their biggest city is Starogard Gdanski. The region they inhabit is called Kociewie and has well developed industry and agriculture. Most of the Kociewiacy are Roman Catholics.
They live next to the other important ethnic group in the area, the Kashubians.
