Ku-ring-gai Council is a Local Government Area in the North Shore region of Sydney. It includes the suburbs of Gordon, Pymble, Lindfield, Killara, St Ives, Roseville, Warrawee, Turramurra and Wahroonga. Because of its elevated position and good soils Ku-ring-gai was originally covered by a fine forest, parts of which still remain. There are many fine domestic gardens in the area.
